Yahoo! and the UK property market
This was on the front page of Yahoo! UK yesterday:
It made me laugh, although I'm sure Yahoo! weren't really offering to help people take advantage of the misfortune of others whose homes are repossessed by panicky banks and then put up for sale, it just looked that way through coincidence, right? I mean, I know Yahoo! is in a spot of bother at the moment having recently posted disappointing financial results and consequently being the subject of a takeover bid by Microsoft, but surely they're not that desperate to make more money..... :-)
